Big Ben is one of the most famous attractions in London, England and has been built for more than a century and a half. Although the name "Big Ben" refers specifically to the bell, the entire tower is known by the same name worldwide.

TOWER BRIDGE

River and architecture. It is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, built between 1886 and 1894. The bridge crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has become a world-famous symbol of London.

STONEHENGE

It stands on Salisbury Plain, in Wiltshire, and its giant stones can be seen from miles around.

Stonehenge was built over many hundreds of years. Over the next thousand years, people made many changes to the monument.

We may never know exactly why Stonehenge was built, but people probably gathered there for religious ceremonies.
